In the Finnish sauna, the air is hot and dry, and the room's walls are lined with wood. Two-tiered benches allow you to choose between different temperatures. The heat source is the hot stones of the stove, onto which, by throwing water, the air is momentarily humidified. The temperature in the sauna rises to 70-95 degrees. The correct impact of the sauna is manifested in alternating hot and cold phases - each sauna visit should be followed by cooling with cold water.
The Russian bath is the only bath in our spa where you can steam with veniks. We have modern artificial veniks available, just as good as birch ones. While perhaps not curing 99 diseases, the process of visiting the bath is beneficial for health. Unlike the Finnish sauna, the air in the Russian bath is much more humid, but the procedures for visiting the bath are similar. The body is heated and cooled several times with cold water.
In the sauna with eucalyptus aroma, the temperature reaches 55-65 degrees. The aroma eases breathing – a true relaxation! The uniqueness of the aromatic sauna lies in strengthening health using natural essential oils extracted from plants and herbs. When inhaling the scent, the area of the brain controlling emotions is affected. The aroma is also absorbed through the skin into the blood, exerting a physiological effect. The aroma lifts the mood, helps alleviate illnesses and relaxes, stimulates metabolism and the immune system, nourishes the skin, and relieves tension, relaxing the respiratory tract.
Similar to a regular sauna, the steam sauna also contributes to perspiration. Steam penetrates the room through a steam generator at almost boiling temperature. The best effect from the steam sauna is achieved at a temperature range of 43-46 °C and, of course, with the relative humidity of the air being over 100%. This is why you are constantly in warm mist inside the steam sauna.
